On a road trip to Hangzhou
I made a coffee break.
I dicovered a small lane.
It leads me under a highway bridge.
Some fishermen make a break from
the brutal heat.
Older women meet
every morning for
taichi in my residence
area.
2019 I made a road trip
far away from Shanghai
to the mountain.
In a little village people never
saw a foreigner from any
other country.
With hands and feet this
guy invites me for lunch.
A little school girl supports
us with small English skills.
Nobody knows his age. But
everybody is sure he is over
100 years old. Never left this
village, never married. But
hard work on the field every
day.
He cook for me and keep the
house clean. It was a really
impressive encounter.
Elder people are
privileged in China.
Nobody send them
away if they take
a nap in the public.
